How many of you think of massage and think about relaxation, luxury or even this as a treat that you only give yourself once in a blue moon?

If this sounds like you, you certainly aren’t alone. However, more and more people are finding other suprising reasons to get a massage.

Depending on your own health and personal situation, you may need relief from one of these ailments: headaches, insomnia, low back pain, postoperative pain relief and depleted energy, faitgue, stiffness or plain old stress.

So, I’ve been doing some reading about stress, what it does to you, yadda, yadda, yadda and laughter seems to be one the THE best ways to battle it.

And then I thought, “How can we apply this to what we’re doing and our business?” I know — do something silly that gets a few chuckles! How about some wacky contest?!

Behold, the “Name the Stress Monster” contest was born. You’ll have to check it out on our site, but I think it’s pretty funny myself (ok, I would since I’m the idiot that created it, but hey — if I can’t say I’m fabulous, who will.)

Now I’ve seen it all…a cat giving a dog a massage?! Yeah, I bet you don’t believe me!

Just as proof, I posted it on our site so nobody can call me a liar — check out the video.

Ok, in all seriousness, this is starting to take off! I’ve got 2 doggies myself and I can’t tell you that I wouldn’t do this for them. Their my babies. I just put Maggie (our Brittany Spaniel) through major surgery so maybe I should get her a massage now that she’s in recovery — the VET gave me a brochure for the rehab center and I bet the massage therapy would be cheaper than that.

Anyway, this is a pretty funny video that gave me a chuckle so I thought I’d share…

I’d guess Maggie would get the same benefits from massage that we do! Don’t know what those are???? Check ‘em out here.
